JOB SUMMARY
General duties include maintaining safety and cleanliness of the work site.
Communicate with coworkers and manager to prove the best possible service to the client. Represent the everyday culture of The Professional Group.
JOB RESPONSIBILTES
- Maintain restroom cleanliness; clean and polish all chrome and stainless steel; clean and sanitize toilet bowls, urinals and sinks; replenish supplies, empty trash containers; replace liners, transport trash to designated area floor maintenance; sweeping, mopping & vacuuming and other duties as assigned.
- Follow cleaning schedule and perform task as they appear on the task log.
- Clean all tools, supplies, and equipment after each use and store in their proper place.
- Adhere to all applicable safety practices.
- Promote and exhibit Company culture and values.
- Ensure facilities are clean projecting a positive image of the Company.
- Relieve, assist, or fill in temporarily on other jobs assigned by the supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Custodial Experience: 1 or more years
- Driver's License
- Reliable Transportation
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Understand acceptable cleaning standards related to the cleaning and maintenance of the agency’s facilities and of the facilities of contracting customers where custodial/janitorial services are provided.
- Monitor inventory and handle the ordering of materials and supplies necessary for fulfilling custodial cleaning and maintenance where applicable.
- Communicate with the staff and co-workers in an appropriate and ethical manner.
- Implementation of the safety procedures and policies of the organization.
- Adherence to OSHA standards in relation to the proper use of chemicals and equipment involved in the day-to-day completion of custodial cleaning tasks.
